Ralphie is about 15 weeks old. He will be a medium sized dog. He is currently knee-high. He is a mix of a beagle and something
else (lab, collie?). Here are some pictures of him from the time I got him to when he was 13 weeks old. He is a little bigger
than in the pictures.
He does not bark incessantly like some dogs! He will only bark if you don't feed him because he will know it is his meal
time.
Ralphie is still teething. He likes to chew! I haven't had problems with him gnawing on personal items but then again
I keep him outside. If you stick your hand in his mouth, he will want to teeth on it. If I bring him in I give him a rawhide
treat and it keeps him busy for a long while!
Ralphie loves to play. He wants as much attention as he can get. Even if its just sitting in the same room as you. He
likes to know someone is there with him. I keep him outside in a fenced yard and after work let him in for a while to hang
out.
Ralphie has had his first DHLP-P and Bordatella shots. He has also been given Flagyl (May 13) as well as a heartworm pill
(July 1). He will still need his second and third sets of puppy shots. Also, he needs a rabies shot ($5) soon. I have not
prepaid for the shots but they are between $30 and $75 (or maybe cheapter) depending on where you go. He is required by law
to be neutered once he gets a certain age. He is scheduled to be neutered at the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter on August
26. I have already prepaid for this- you just have to get him there. You can call the animal shelter and schedule a time that
better suits your needs.
Currently he eats about two cups of Purina Puppy Chow per meal. Two meals a day. He loves food! One of his favorite things
to devoure is whole milk since he is still in his puppy stages. Yum!
I am not asking any money for him, just that he gets his shots and neutering.I am hoping I can find a loving home for
Ralphie, especially one with a child that can play with him and give him the attention he deserves.
